In Part 1, we saw how a Laser Rotary Attachment was added to a TruCUT 6040 Laser. Now we will see how the Laser Rotary is used to engrave on a glass jar.
Using a Rotary Attachment can be a bit tricky but here’s how:
Step ONE: Connect Laser Cutter and let it boot up and be ready for a job, adjust the rotary rollers to allow your cylindrical object to seat and roll correctly. Measure the Diameter and put it into the controller [Menu>User Setting>Rotating].
Step two: Press Menu>Manufacturers Setting>please contact our engineer team for your machine admin password}>Y-AXIS>Step length>Input Step length from Result you go>Write to save.
Step Three: Connect Rotary with motor interfacing the controller, place object on the Rotary with the front part of the bottle facing the controller
Step four: Setup the file in the Software and match the orientation as described in the video and send it to the Machine.
Final step: Run the job
